Bathala Resort

Great property tucked away from the madness of Bohol township, staff are amazing, pool bar for a couple of cocktails and rooms a perfect and large in size with little daybed out front, comfortable beds and pillows, highly recommend staying here All the staff are amazing and had to deal with some extremely rude Russian families and did so with such grace. I wish these families had a tenth of the Philippine people’s kindness ❤️

The resort was beautiful, really well maintained and presented and a gorgeous pool area. The staff were fantastic always happy to help and greeted with a smile, nothing was too much trouble. Food was great, especially our breakfast omelettes! Rooms were comfortable and spacious with great a/c. Able to help with arranging a tour to see the chocolate hills, tarsier sanctuary and floating restaurant. Great that we were able to pay by card (with a 3% fee)

My parents enjoyed their stay in Bathala, it is not criwded. Resort is new, spacious and clean. Thanks to the staff who prepared a little surprise, flowers on bed and greeting cards for them when I told them booking was for my parents anniversary date.

Everything is just WOW in this private little paradise. We feel so lucky to be one of the first few guests since it recently opened. The facilities are pristine, the surroundings are gorgeous, the service is impeccable (I forgot something in the bar area, and the staff went to our room to return it). I especially liked the interiors because they're so spacious and well-thought-out. I had to take lots of pics because our room had EXACTLY what I wanted for my own house: nook seating, open shelving, multifunctional built-in console tables... Just smart and stylish!

I actually don't want to write a review since I want to keep this hidden gem a secret for myself ;) But seriously, this brand new hotel is fantastic! a stonethrow away from the main beach but away from the hutle and bustle so it's super quiet and cozy with an amazing bar INSIDE the pool. The place is run by foreigners who pay a lot of attention to detail and you can tell by the excellent quality of the rooms, the facilities, the attentive staff and the great food. Please don't tell too many people about this so we can keep it a secret retreat just a little more!
